Hillary is a nationally recognized special education attorney, advocate, and speaker whose work sits at the intersection of law, disability rights, and equity in schools. As Founding Partner of Freeman Law Offices, she has spent two decades representing students with disabilities and their families in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A former Vice President of the Learning Disabilities Association of New Jersey, she has presented at the United Nations for World Autism Awareness Day and consulted internationally on civil rights in education. Her personal experience as the sister of a man with autism gives her work uncommon depth — and keeps Parthion's IEP workflows grounded in what families actually need.
MaryEllen Elia
MaryEllen brings five decades of experience as an educator and administrator to Parthion's board. She served as New York's first female Commissioner of Education, overseeing 700+ school districts and 3.2 million students as President of the University of the State of New York. Before that, she led Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa—the nation's eighth-largest district—where she drove measurable gains in student achievement and was named Florida's Superintendent of the Year in 2015. She now leads Success For Students, Inc., a consulting firm supporting educational leaders across the country.

Nick Gronda
Nick founded Parthion out of a conviction that students who need support most are too often failed by the systems meant to help them. A management engineering graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and founder of CollegeROI (a platform helping under-resourced students navigate college affordability), he built Parthion from first principles alongside school administrators. Nick's belief: educators don't have time for systems that take time away from students without improving outcomes. Parthion is his answer.
Dr. Robert R. Zywicki
Dr. Zywicki brings over two decades of district leadership to Parthion. A two-time PK–12 Superintendent in New Jersey, he drove graduation rates above 95%, implemented MTSS for at-risk learners, and oversaw $60 million in capital improvements. Named a District Thought Leader by Future Ready Schools, a "Superintendent to Watch" by NSPRA, and a co-author of New Jersey's COVID-19 school reentry manual, he now advises districts nationwide at Rutgers — and brings that practitioner depth directly to Parthion's MTSS and IEP workflows.
